Mayura Station is situated in South Australia’s Limestone Coast, known for its exceptional farming conditions. This pristine environment is perfect for producing award-winning Wagyu beef, thanks to its rich soils, rolling hills, moderate climate, clean water, and reliable rainfall.
The Genetics
Founded in 1997, Mayura Station is a premier full-blood Wagyu breeding operation in South Australia, known for importing some of Australia’s first live 100% full-blood Wagyu cattle. Through decades of performance breeding, it has established itself as a key center for elite Wagyu genetics outside of Japan.
The Flavor
Only the finest Japanese black-haired Wagyu are chosen for a grain-feeding program, where they are fed for at least 500 days to produce beef with a fine texture, buttery flavor, and exceptional tenderness. Mayura Station also creates its own custom formula utilizing chocolate and candies to further enhance marbling and flavor.
